Smith & Co. unofficially began in the lush foothills of the Santa Cruz mountains, when Lisa Smith at the age of seven, wrote her first real estate “contract”. Lisa lived in a rural community—one that celebrated diversity, love, and all walks of life. Together this hard working community created magic and joy deep in the Redwoods.
Lisa Launched her dream career in 2015 when she started Smith & Co. — connecting people with their perfect home. Her unconventional upbringing taught her to do things differently: lead with empathy and integrity, understand her clients, offer total transparency, and provide an unparalleled experience. Lisa moved to Marin County in her 20s from Santa Cruz, when she realized she was tired of hauling her bike across the bridge just to experience the beautiful Bay Area trails.
Today she resides in Mill Valley with her son on beautiful Mt. Tamalpais , overlooking the San Francisco bay. Lisa’s 20 years of living in Marin has influenced her rapid rise as not only one of the most respected real estate agents in Marin County, but all of the Bay Area and even across the country. In 2022 alone, she was ranked Top 100 Producing Agents by Luxe SF, and Top 100 Best Real Estate Professionals by RealTrends.

Real estate is in Susannah's DNA. Growing up in La Jolla, California, she got an early start riding along with her mom – a top-selling agent - on broker's tours and hosting open houses. As an adult, she developed a healthy obsession with real estate and interior design. After remodeling and flipping several properties, she finally followed in her mom's footsteps and shifted her career path to focus on real estate full-time.
As a newer team member at Smith & Co., Susannah is excited to work with an outstanding team that ranks among the top 1% of Marin County realtors. Susannah lives with her husband, Pete, and two teenage daughters. Most weekends, they can be found hiking Mt. Tam or surfing Stinson Beach, enjoying all that Marin has to offer - from city access to the stunning mountains and seashore.
